Update on Missing Closet

When I checked out of the lovely Hotel Allegro, I mentioned the lack of either closet or hook in my room and asked whether they knew these things were missing. I wasn't complaining, I said, I just wanted to know. Cause I thought it was hilarious, that I had no place to hang my coat in the Very Fancy Hotel Room, and also I blogged them. Ha ha.

The clerk at the desk told me that because it is such an old hotel, some of the rooms are still missing closets and hooks. But that if he had been there when I checked in, he would NEVER have given me room 915 (nota bene, y'all, if you're going to the Hotel Allegro -- no place to hang your clothes in that room), because I had SUCH a nice coat it was clear I needed a place to hang it.

Then he comped me the chocolate I ate from the mini-bar yesterday when I was very hungry and everything was closed.

So. I had no closet, but I got a free candy bar. This seems fair to me. I recommend the Hotel Allegro. It is an excellent place to stay. You could try asking for room 915, and then mentioning the lack of hanger space when you check out -- see if you get free mini-bar usage in return.
