Glory Update
Well, what an exciting contest this was! The totals changed just about every hour or so all day -- good thing I was working so hard, or I'd have spent the entire day hanging out on the 'net, trying to find out if I was going to win the Bad Essay Contest, and hence be covered in GLORY.
At 1:01 PM, I had 45% of the GLORY, which was pretty good, as far as I was concerned, and for sure lots better than the 1/6th of GLORY with which I had started the day.
However, at 1:54, Adam conceded to me, which means, I do believe, that I have 90% of the GLORY, with which I am content, as I believe that's enough GLORY to run up a nice shiny rain poncho, useful in all sorts of weathers, which is an excellent thing, it being April and all.
Thanks to all of you who voted for me. And also thanks to those of you who declined to vote for me, on the grounds that the Bad Essay was too darn intelligent.
