Knitting Soon! But Not JUST Yet....

Well, we seem not to be moving to Canada in great numbers after all, around here, though I thank the darlings who've offered me shelter. I'll take a rain check, Aven.

No, no, we're all sardonically cheerful and making jokes and figuring out where to go from here.

Suzie, for instance, fellow Pghblogger, is planning subversion:

Now I see that it’s good I’m out here in conservative-land. I’m white, married, over thirty and have a comfortable household income. I blend. And I’m sneaky. Like so:

Suburban man: How are your tomatoes doing this year, fellow suburban?
Suzie: Good. Next year, I think I’ll be more vigilant about pinching off the lateral shoots, and don’t you think marriage should be a right for everyone regardless of sexual orientation?
Suburban man: That’s a good idea, wait. Huh?

See? Sneaky. It’s going to be OK.

And the crew over at The Poor Man has posted a new proposal for a map of North America.

Another fellow Phgblogger, Goose3five, has stocked up on useful "Don't Blame me, I Voted for Kerry" bumperstickers, in case you'd like to get one now.

If you're ready to move on to actual work, Boing Boing has posted the purple map of the States, showing visually the percentage of Kerry/Bush votes the states got.

And then, if you're in Pittsburgh, you can log on to Democracy for Pittsburgh.

And while you're at it, you can stop by the Thomas Merton Center, cause they have a bunch of stuff going on.
