Nearest Book Meme
It's about books; I can't help it, and so go along with one of the latest blog projects:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the sentence in your journal with these instructions.
"You have a great deal to complain of, haven't you, Stepan Arkadeyvitch?" (Anna Karenina, Leo Tolstoy)
I could have told you that Anna Karenina is one of my favorite books, but I had no idea it was the one nearest the computer.
Oh, wait, here's one on the floor that's closer...
"In spite of the fact that some pedigrees give Bennet Guildford a third husband, William Boys of Bonnington, this is improbable." (The Ancestry of Mary Isaac, Walter Goodwin Davis)
Ok, well, that was weird. Let's move on.
Nobody's dead yet, as usual (see yesterday's entry for the reference).
And Mimi Smartypants presents, today, an interesting discussion of performance art.
That's it for the day. If I can tomorrow, in amongst the shopping and the going to the baby shower and the baking lemon cake, I'll drop by then.
