Harrius Potter
I'm considering buying a copy of Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis, cause I think it would come in handy. I mean, I don't have time to read it right now -- I'm working on a Walker Percy novel, and Roddy Doyle's The Van, which is hilarious, but I'm having trouble getting through it on account of I've come to the part where the guys are actually attempting to cook the fish and chips, and I can't read it during breakfast or lunch, and it's the book that resides in the sitting room, so I'm sort of stuck. Should move it upstairs, I suppose.
Anyway. Where was I...oh, right. Harry Potter in Latin. I think, as I say, that this would come in handy. I can tell from the little excerpt in the Common Reader catalog that it's quite readable. Good practice. Also, the child might read it. Someday.
I dunno -- we've had to rent a whole nother storage unit to keep the overflow books in, and have started discussing building a room on the house as a library. Do I really need a Latin version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone?
And yet. If we're building a library anyway...
Right. On to knitting. Here's the "Swirl Pullover," without its sleeves and not sewn up. But observe! It's all fitting together! Yay, the pattern corrections!

I'm working on the sleeves now, so I can wear this before summer hits.
Today's Maundy Thursday. I'm baking rosemary buns, and tonight, because we must eat green foods, I'm making pesto ravioli. Also leeks. Any excuse for leeks. I'll just saute them in a bit of butter.
Tomorrow! Hot Cross Buns!
It's the holy sacred food season. Bigger than Christmas, even.
